Clean-up at St Georges Cross

Work has completed at St Georges Cross to clean up the shrubs and planters which have become stained and untidy. There has also been e a complete stone cleaning of the paved areas and the statue of St George and the dragon, which was donated to the City of Glasgow by the Scottish Co-operative and Wholesale Society in 1933. The project incudes at long last the provision of a new lance for St George.
